The Knucklemaniac

Mental strength isn't talked about. It's trained.

Cody's bare-knuckle fighting career is where the principles behind his hypnotherapy work get tested under the most pressure imaginable.

Beyond the office

The Knucklemaniac

Where mental training meets the ring.

Cody Vidal’s journey into bare-knuckle fighting became about far more than stepping into the ring. Competing in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) gave him an opportunity to put the principles he teaches through hypnotherapy to the ultimate test.

Combat sports demand more than physical strength. A fighter must learn to control fear, remain focused under extreme pressure, manage adrenaline, quiet negative self-talk, and maintain confidence when every instinct is telling the body to react.

For Cody, this is where fighting and hypnotherapy intersect.

Throughout his training, Cody has used many of the same mental principles he works on with his hypnotherapy clients: visualization, focused breathing, mental rehearsal, emotional regulation, confidence building, and learning to take greater control over automatic thought patterns and responses.

Training for BKFC taught Cody that the mind often reacts before the body does. Fear, doubt, hesitation, stress, and self-limiting beliefs can influence performance long before a person ever takes physical action. Learning to recognize and reshape those patterns became an important part of his preparation.

The ring simply provided an extreme environment in which to practice it.

Today, Cody brings those experiences into his work at Vidal Hypnosis Hypnotherapy. While most people will never step into a bare-knuckle fight, everyone faces their own version of pressure—whether it's anxiety before an important moment, a lack of confidence, unwanted habits, fear of failure, or feeling mentally stuck.

The opponent may change, but the principle remains the same: learn to master your mind so your mind doesn't master you.

Cody's BKFC journey represents his belief that mental strength isn't something you simply talk about. It's something you train, practice, and develop—just like the body.
